The Praxis Battleship Class is designed to use the PIS weapon systems of the 2nd generation. Outfitted with a full armament of these weapons the Praxis Battleships are designed to quickly overwhelm enemy battlegroups before the enemy realizes they have been fired upon. Also using a dual hull design the Praxis has extended combat survivability. Most of the weapons are on turrets with the exception of the Force beams and the Bombardment lasers. The Force beams run down the sides of the ship giving it the ability to strike at foes in those areas without moving its guns, andthe Bombardment lasers face forward a long the frontal lobe of the ship giving them a clear shot onto a planet or other large body.

This has lead to the idea that these ships could be used in not only defensive positions, but offensive as well. They are constructed to be non-missile bearing ships giving them mostly energy weapons to fight with. The energy for the Havok Cannon can be diverted instead to the other systems to greatly increase their power should the battle call for such a thing. If this happens the ship can still fire a beam equivalent of a DS laser from its Energy Array.
